TOP MARQUES FOR AUTOGLYM CONCOURS FINAL

Autoglym website

Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Ferrari, Jaguar, MG, Porsche and Triumph are among the classic marques which will draw the crowds at the final of the 2004 Autoglym Classic Concours Championship at the NEC.

The climax of the UK’s leading concours series, which will take place at the Classic Motor Show on October 22-24, is shaping up to be a closely-fought contest featuring some of the most perfectly-prepared cars in Europe.

Organiser John Cole said: "What I am delighted about this year is that, among the classics, there are also 'everyday' models such as Austin, Ford, Mini and Talbot, reflecting the fact that the Autoglym series now attracts the widest range of enthusiasts.

"The final is as much a social as a competitive occasion, and it promises to be an enjoyable weekend."

The results will be announced at 12noon on the Sunday of the show, October 24.

In addition to receiving the coveted Autoglym silver salver, the overall champion will receive £500, a year’s insurance, a specially commissioned artist’s painting of the car, and a car cover.
