The show was held on Sunday, November 14th at Gladesville Park, which overlooks the Paramatta River in Sydney. The display was organised by the Triumph Sports Owners Association and was part of their annual concours. The day dawned fine with a slight breeze promising not to be too hot, ideal for a British car. The majority of cars on show were Triumphs but there were enough examples from other companies to interest most people. There was a noticeable lack of smaller independent brands. I didn’t see any Jensen’s, Morgan’s or TVR's. I was hoping I’d see a Marcos but none turned up while I was there. The Scimitar is mine. There are quite a few British cars on the roads in Sydney. I often see MGB’s or Morris Minors but it was good to see something different.
