Letters to the Editor

The Editor,

I am currently restoring an Austin A40 Somerset which has trafficators (and I am wanting to add indicators as an extra but can easily be removed when being shown).

I wonder if any reader can explain how to wire the flasher unit as no matter what I do all I can get is all four lights to be lit continuously. Perhaps it is not possible to do this as an extra, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
    Andy

Hi Andy re trafficator problem, I had the same problem but just fitted 2 flasher units one on  each live feed to the trafficator and works OK.

    John

The Editor,

( BRILLIANT ) could you send John my thanks and let him know that I tried his suggestion of using 2 flasher units one for either side and it works, thanks also to you and Classic Car Times you have been a great help.

"THANKS",
    Andy
